ROBERT CHAVEZ, President & Chief Executive Officer


Robert Chavez is the founder and CEO of Avant-Garde Holdings Americas Inc. He is also a healthcare executive and founder of ExecTeam, LLC, a consulting firm focused on helping private medical businesses improve operations through process efficiencies and executive management coaching.

With extensive experience in clinical operations, academic medical business administration, business and strategic planning, and data analytics for decision making, he was inspired to examine the benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) as an alternative to opioid therapy and subsequent addiction.

Robert acted as a consulting founder of Green Roads Wellness, where he and the Green Roads team contextualized CBD products as a wellness resource for targeted clinical outcomes and educated consumers on the medicinal benefits of cannabinoids.

Robert has been heavily involved in the start-up community in South Florida and beyond, having co-founded the first digital Health-Tech seed accelerator in Florida in 2013, Project Lift.

TARYN BERK, EVP, Chief Operating Officer


Taryn Berk is a co-founder of Avant-Garde Holdings Americas Inc. She is an experienced business developer who has spent her career working with startups in healthcare and non-profit organizations.

She brings her expertise and passion together as AGH’s Chief Operating Officer, leading the team to optimize the organization’s mission, vision, core values, strategic priorities and growth goals. Her career was influenced by a nomadic life as she made her home in over ten countries over eight short years.

During her time overseas, she focused her skills on developing funding streams for local nonprofits. Taryn's worldly perspective gives her insight into cultural nuances necessary to target specific market segments. Upon her return to the U.S., she lent her experience to startups targeting the healthcare sector, strategically developing relationships through both digital and in-person channels

JIM H. OSCEOLA, EVP, Government and International Relations


Jim H. Osceola III is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida - Otter Clan. He serves on the Constitution Review Committee, Seminole Tribe of Florida as committee chairman.

Following the acquisition of Hard Rock International, Jim was appointed as director of hospitality at the Seminole Gaming Administration in Hollywood, Florida. Jim is also the Owner and Operator of Seminola Products and Seminola Coffee.

Eric Irwin M.B.A, EVP Organizational Development and Human Resources


Eric Irwin has been consulting at the C-Suite level for many years. His extensive background in sales and human resources has provided many large and small corporations successful solutions for hiring, talent development, and succession planning and change management.

Eric is widely recognized for his ability to provide robust solutions for various organizations in the areas of recruitment, productivity, engagement and retention needs.

As an accomplished speaker on HR workforce analytics, Eric has been a guest lecturer at several Canadian universities in addition to presenting and executing meaningful solutions to companies in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Eric received his MBA from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.

Jamie Cobb Chief Marketing Officer


In addition to CMO at AG Health, Jamie serves as Vice President of Creative and Brand Strategy for Addison Whitney, a Syneos Health company. Jamie leads the strategic and visual development of global naming and brand communication initiatives around the world. Before joining AW in 2019, Jamie was developing brand strategies and creative campaigns for some of the world’s most successful brands for 30 years. His early clients include Disney, Thomasville, Gulfstream, Cummins, Zeiss, and South Carolina tourism. Since focusing on pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing in 2000, Jamie has led client and agency teams to build global brands and advertising campaigns in numerous therapeutic categories for Lilly, J&J Global Surgery Group, Roche, Takeda, IQVIA, and Novartis. Jamie’s extensive experience designing and facilitating workshops continues to be an important part of his value to clients.

He often lectures to advertising and marketing students at his alma mater, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and provides ongoing brand consulting services to several educational and non-profit organizations throughout North Carolina.

Joyana Anisio, V.P. Digital Education and Human Resources


Joyana Anisio is a recognized leadership and talent development specialist. She brings extensive experience in executive development, coaching and training solutions for all levels of an organization. Joyana has been very successful in creating customized learning solutions tailored to the specific needs of the organization.

An avid writer, Joyana has a wealth of experience in speech and script writing for business communications. As an accomplished executive coach, Joyana is adept at identifying and addressing the key areas of development for leaders. Joyana received her undergraduate degree from York University in Toronto, Ontario.

Matthew R. Brown, Director of Sales


Matt Brown is a results-driven sales executive and strategic account manager with a proven track record buildings sales teams, generating leads, and negotiating and closing on large contracts in the Healthcare industry, working for leading companies on SaaS Practice Management, EMR, and Revenue Cycle Management solution.

He is leading our effort to build our sales and distribution teams for the sale of our VEDA products. He is developing our Go-to-Market strategies, including website and e-commerce platform messaging, channel partner development, account management, and day-to-day sales operations.

Matt is a former professional hockey player and a graduate of Trinity College and Northeastern University.

MIKE MCCALL, Comptroller


Mike is a two-time graduate from the University of Miami. With a BBA in Finance and an MBA specializing in International Business. Mike is an Army Airborne veteran having served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.

With a decade of experience at DHL, where he most recently has served as CFO of DHL Caribbean, he brings a critical perspective of logistics at a global scale.

MARVIN DEGON IV, Director of VEDA Sport


Marvin Degon IV, is a retired professional ice hockey player who recently joined the AGH team to serve as a leadership liaison with the athletic and sports sectors. The former hockey star has been an outspoken hemp advocate for years.

Marvin’s professional hockey resume includes contracts with the most elite leagues in the world. With more than 550 career games played, he has unique insight to the sports world and how ECN products can serve as a supplement in nutrition and aid in recovery.

Marvin earned contracts in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Montreal Canadiens, the American Hockey League (AHL) with The Hartford Wolfpack and Hamilton Bulldogs, The Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) with the Wolfsburg Grizzlys and the Eisbären Berlin and the Erste Banke Eishockey Liga (EBEL) with EC Villacher SV and HDD Olimpija Ljubljana, he also sits on the board of AG Fight Like Me Foundation.

ROBERT SCHREMP, Athletic Liasion


Rob Schremp joins the team as the AG Health Athletic Liaison. Rob brings great experience from his professional hockey career which spanned over 16 years. He is well known throughout the hockey community as an innovator in the sport.

Rob earned elite contracts in the most prestigious leagues in the world including The National Hockey League, Kontinental Hockey League, Swedish Hockey League, Deutsche Eishockey Liga, and The National League.

Rob uses his athletic platform to inform and educate on the stigma of mental health and natural sustainable solutions for mental illness. Schremp is an active philanthropist, he also sits on the board of AG Fight Like Me Foundation.

TIFFANY MIKALACHKI, Digital Learning and Communications Design Manager


With a strong business acumen and education, Tiffany Mikalachki brings tremendous energy and passion to the AG Health team. Coupled with her advanced skills in graphic design, Tiffany is committed to ensuring that all AG Health education and communications programs are of the highest quality. Tiffany received her BAH from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, where she placed consistently on the Dean’s Honor List. She is a past recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for Students in Ontario, Canada for Outstanding Community Service.

Tiffany has also received the distinguished honor of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award at the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels in recognition of her leadership, community involvement, and desire to affect change.

DONALD GROVER, Director of Technology


Donald brings an extensive and unique array of experience to this role as Director of Technology. A well balanced background including an Electrical Engineering degree from Northeastern University, 15+ years programming experience, and 6 years of professional ice hockey allows Donald to effectively communicate with all business and IT professionals.

As the owner and president of Grover Web Design, Donald has two decades of web development experience working on both internal and client facing products for businesses of all sizes. He puts a strong emphasis on solutions that are easy to maintain and grow by non-technical clients.

Donald has provided CTO services to over 150 companies, him and his team at GWD stay on the cutting edge of technology by working in industries ranging from lumber to race cars.
